Spellbinding Reusable Shopping Bag - Medium

The artwork featured on this bag is by Maggie Stephenson, a German/Polish self-taught artist based in Florida. She utilises colour blocking and lines to tell stories, which explore the depths of movement and shape. The recycled fabric used to make Kind bags is produced from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which found in plastic bottles. It produces less CO2 emissions than cotton bags, 33-35% less energy in production than polyester, and rescues plastic bottles from landfill or polluting our oceans. Each bag is made from a single piece of material to minimise waste, and the super strong stitching means it can carry loads of up to 20kg. The bag measures approximately 39cm x 40cm. Handles approximately 24cm x 6cm. Approximately 14cm x 12cm when folded in pouch. Designed in the UK and responsibly produced in China from 100% recycled PET certified by the Global Recycled Standard. Comes packaged in a recyclable card sleeve detailing the bag's eco credentials. Machine washable at 30 degrees. 1% of the selling price of this bag is divided equally between four charities and donated via the Work For Good fundraising platform. Currently donations are made to WWF UK, Breast Cancer Haven, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Just One Ocean. Carrying a reusable bag around whilst out and about helps eliminate the need for single use plastic and paper bags. 60 million plastic bottles are discarded globally every day and with 80% of those ending in landfill, that's a lot of plastic! It takes 1000 years for one plastic bottle to break down into tiny plastic fragments, which are also harmful to animals and marine life.
