Reusable straws

Plastic and single use  straws can be a thing of the past with a reusable straw. As plastic straws are one of the top 10 most littered items, using one of our range of sustainably grown bamboo or stainless steel straws will cut down on plastic waste.

    FAQs about Reusable Straws

Bamboo straws and stainless steel are both really great choices, overall. Our metal straw range is made from from 304 (18/8) food-grade stainless steel.

They're better than paper, metal, and glass straws. Bamboo Straws are organic and totally chemical-free, eliminating the risk of ingesting toxins. This gives them the edge over paper, metal, and glass straws that either don't biodegrade as easily or aren't sustainably made from natural materials.

Technically you can clean your straw in a dishwasher, but it won't be as clean as washing it by hand. This is because while the dishwasher does a great job cleaning the outside, it can't get inside to scrub and sterilise it, especially if it has a bent neck, which is what's needed for a thorough clean. The best advice is to soak in washing up water and then wash the inside with a specifically designed straw brush - like the wool or sisal brushes in our range.
