Natural cream cleaner recipe
- 1 cup bicarbonate of soda
- 1/4 cup water
- Optional: 5 drops essential oil - we love Purity essential oil blend for cleaning products
Instructions:
Make a paste of the baking soda and water. Add the essential oil if using. Apply the paste to the surface and scrub with a reusable cloth.or brush. Rinse with water.
Not suitable for: surfaces that easily scratch, such as natural stone, stainless steel and painted surfacs.
Why it works:
Bicarbonate of soda is a mild abrasive providing a gentle scrubbing a gentle scrubbing action that helps lift and loosen dirt, grime, and grease without scratching most surfaces. It also absorbs and neutralises acidic odors.
Bicarbonate of soda doesn't add a pleasant scent itself, so for a fresh scent we recommend adding essential oils which leaves your newly cleaned area smelling nice, and also have antibacterial properties.
