A warm welcome from Charity Nichols, founder of Everyday Green

How lovely it is to be welcoming you to the new home of Everyday Green. I'm so glad you're here, and hope you enjoy our new knowledge hub and the community we're creating.

Everyday Green is a small business I founded and run, supplying eco-friendly products. While the name and website is new, launched in March 2022, we have in fact been going since 2007. Kate, Everyday Green's sustainability manager, joined us in 2015. You can read more about our story here.

I passionately believe in supporting people to live more sustainably and to make those choices accessible to a wider range of people. My mission for Everyday Green is simple; a one-stop shop for everything you need to help you live a more sustainable life. You won't find fancy, expensive eco products here that look great but go unused. What you will find is environmentally friendlier alternatives to the things you use day in, day out.

Alongside our range of products, you'll find our knowledge hub; Green Guides and journals written by Kate, packed with advice and simple steps to support and encourage sustainable behaviour. Work out exactly what you need (or don’t need!) then browse our eco shop and find high quality, fairly priced products to help you on your journey.

As well as Everyday Green, I run Green Tulip, selling a range of beautiful ethical gifts. You can visit Green Tulip at www.greentulip.co.uk.

And finally...

Just a word about us at Everyday Green and Green Tulip. It's now 16 years since I first started my 'kitchen table' business, and the team has grown - there's now nine of us (and a Portuguese Pointer!) You can find out more about us here.

We’re based on a lovely farm in the middle of the Wiltshire countryside, employing local people who believe in what we do. I guess you could say we are a million miles away from some of the big businesses dominating online retail these days. Do follow us on Instagram and sign up to our newsletter to find out more about the team and what we get up to!
