Kate's favourite Eco Living Christmas gifts

At this time of year, it's so lovely to work alongside the team of our sister site Green Tulip. I feel very lucky to be able to pop down to the stock room anytime to browse their beautiful selection of ethical gifts – perfect for a spot of Christmas shopping!

I thought it would be nice to share some of my favourite gifts from their assortment with you, scroll down to see what I've chosen and what I love about each one...

This wallet is made from upcycled bicycle inner tubes by a company called Cycle of Good that raise money for non-profit social enterprises in Malawi. Absolutely lovely wallet!

Another upcycled gift made from used truck tarpaulin - these washbags are fabulous. They have so much history in them - they've travelled the length and breadths of the highways and now they're being used for something useful instead of going in the bin.

I recently gifted this bag to a friend; she uses it as her beach bag - perfect for when we go holidaying together. There are lots of other designs to choose from.

These bowls are made from upcycled saris and natural seagrass - they're absolutely beautiful and just really useful. I love the blues and greens but there are more colours to choose from.

These scarves are made from recycled silk overlain with wool felt. There is a choice of colours and each one is unique. Not only are they beautiful but a really good price too.

This chocolate to me tastes like summer in the New Forest, Scotland or Nottinghamshire - three of my favourite places to visit.

The most beautiful vegan cook book. I love Indian food - the colours and recipes are amazing. It's just the nicest gift, I would love to receive this and give this as a gift.

I have lots of dogs in my life so this eco dog toy is a great choice. This one is Austin the aubergine, it's a really good quality dog toy, very durable and long lasting.

This Pachamama hat is fair trade, it's fully lined and has such vibrant colours. It's so warm and bright for winter time - such a lovely gift.

Green Tulip's own range of candles smell amazing! They have a natural cotton wick and are made using clean burning sustainable plant wax. They are also so well priced from only £4.00.

These super soft socks are made from organic cotton. They have non slip pads at the soles and a fluffy lining inside. I have some of these and they are so cosy. I would definitely give these as a gift to a friend.

I gave these soaps as a present to a friend for helping out with my son and she said they smell absolutely amazing - her new favourite soaps!

P.S. For all Green Tulip orders, there's the option to add a FREE postcard and they'll handwrite a personalised gift message for you. If you're sending directly to the recipient, there's also the option to have your gift wrapped. For just £2.50, your gift will be wrapped in tissue paper, packed in a natural cardboard box and hand tied with a natural paper ribbon bow in the colour of your choice.

Happy gifting!
