Delivery + Returns
Within the UK we offer the following delivery options:
Royal Mail ‘Tracked 48’ Service £2.95
This is our standard delivery option (that is free for orders over £30). You will receive a tracking number by text/email.
Orders received by 9am weekdays will be sent out the same day.
Express Delivery - DHL Courier £7.50
Order by 11am weekdays for express delivery. Orders placed after 11am will be dispatched the next working day.
Delivery by DHL courier using their express service, which usually arrives the next working day.
We offer free UK delivery on all orders placed over £30.
From time to time, we also offer free delivery to people signed up to our newsletter, as a way of saying thank you for being on this journey with us. You can sign up to the newsletter here.

We only offer delivery within mainland UK.
If you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in a fully resalable condition.
Returns should be sent back to us within one month of the date of purchase, in their original, undamaged packaging.
Please email email@example.com and we will provide you with a link to our returns portal on the Royal Mail website. The postage charge for this service is £3.50.

Once the returned item has been received by us, we will refund the price of the item using the same method originally used by you to pay for it. Should you prefer to receive an exchange, rather than a refund, please place a new order for the alternative item that you would like. We will then process a refund for your returned item.
A refund of the delivery charge will only be given if items are found to be incorrect, damaged or faulty. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount.
None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.
At Everyday Green we pack all your orders with the upmost care and we are proud to say that every bit of packaging that leaves us is plastic free, 100% recyclable and as environmentally friendly as it can be.
We reuse boxes where possible, or if we haven’t got a reused box we use simple kraft boxes, corrugated card or paper envelopes. We seal each package with our smart Everyday Green 100% recyclable paper tape.
Although we take payment for your order at the point of purchase, you may still cancel it by contacting at firstname.lastname@example.org. We pick up emails much quicker than any phone messages.
Providing your order has not been dispatched, we'll then stop it being sent to the warehouse to be picked and packed and will refund you in full.
Providing your order has not yet been dispatched (usually next working day), it’s not a problem to add an extra item.
Please place a second order with us for the other product/s that have caught your eye. We will then do our best to ensure that both orders are packed together, in one parcel. If your second order is under £30 (and we are able to pack them together), we will also refund your £2.95 delivery charge.
Our Customer Service office hours are 9am to 2.30pm, every weekday.
General Questions about Everyday Green
Everyday Green is a small business founded and run by Charity Nichols, supplying eco-friendly products. We are the sister company to Green Tulip, founded back in 2007.
We're based on a lovely farm in the middle of the Wiltshire countryside.

A Slice of Green is a brand owned by Charity’s other business Green Pioneer - a well respected and forward thinking distributor of eco products to retailers all around Europe.
When we decided to launch an online eco shop in 2017, A Slice of Green seemed a great name for it. However as we have grown the variety of brands and products over the years, it doesn’t seem quite right anymore.
So we’re renaming our online eco shop to Everyday Green (where you are now!), and A Slice of Green has a new home selling just A Slice of Green branded products and telling a bit more of their story to consumers and stockists alike.
Everyday Green does of course still sell the whole A Slice of Green range because we love it - you can find all of the products here.
FAQs about Products
These are our most commonly asked questions about our products at the moment. We'll add to this over time.
Yes they’re non-scratch, safe and effective on glass and crockery - however, do be careful with any special items - for instance, we wouldn't recommend using them on crystal, any hand-painted items etc.
A Slice of Green containers (designed without clips or silicone seal) can be used in the freezer. However (unless
specified) they are not leak-resistant. If the container is used for liquids, it would need to be kept flat, as they have no seal. Also, as you will know, stainless steel can be dangerous to touch
with bare hands when taken out of the freezer, so do be careful with that.
We don't recommend using our stainless steel lunch boxes or stainless steel leak resistant lunch boxes in the freezer. The reason for this is that the changes in temperature could potentially damage the clip mechanism which will mean the lunch box will not fasten properly.
Although steel products are generally safe to put in an oven, the A Slice of Green containers
are not designed to be used in the oven. The steel they are made from is much thinner than products like oven baking trays and could buckle when heated at
high temperatures. Therefore, we
do not advise that you use the containers in the oven - and we do like to mention that of course you cannot defrost contents in a microwave if they are in metal!
A Slice of Green leak resistant containers and lunch boxes have a silicone seal inside the lid to help prevent leaks.
You'll probably want to remove the seal from time to time to give it a good wash. This handy guide shows you how to remove and reinsert the seal.
It is possible to wash Abeego Beeswax Wraps in cold water.
We advise the following care:
Hand wash in COLD water with an eco-friendly soap and air dry. In cold water the beeswax coating will be stiff, providing a stable surface to clean. Abeego washes like a plate, not a piece of fabric. It can handle a light scrub with a gentle dishcloth or sponge.
Store rolled, folded or flat (between cutting boards).
Abeego can last a year or longer with proper care. At the end of its life it can be composted.
